Her parents are Harvey Welker, a Native American father as well as Julie Welker, an African American Mother. She is the daughter of an indigenous father and an African-American mom. She graduated from the Germantown Friends School, located in Philadelphia's Germantown neighborhood, in the year 1994. After graduating from Harvard College in 1998, she attended Harvard College and earned her bachelor of Arts. Welker is in a relationship with John Hughes a well-known marketing director for Merck located in Philadelphia and has two kids. The couple started to have an affair. John her husband is four years her junior. They decided to bring their relationship to a higher step because everything was running so smoothly.
