Paula Patton, an American actor and producer, is well-known for her role as the lead in Mission: Impossible: Ghost Protocol (an action-spy thriller) and Precious (a dramatic). She was born into a family of middle class living in Los Angeles and had big hopes for the future. A passion for film in her daughter was something that she learned from her mother, she also enjoyed watching films. Paula took part in numerous co-curricular events at school, but she had an interest in drama. She was a member of her class and took part in the school productions. Hamilton Magnet Arts High School produced many plays and the actress decided that acting was the career she wanted to pursue. She was a student at the University of Southern California for a Summer Program and loved the experience. The program awarded her a 3-month contract making documentaries for PBS. The first assignment was to be an assistant to production for TV documentaries following her successful completion of the assignment. The next thing she did was start producing documentaries. The work was enjoyable but was determined to become an actor. Her first acting gig came through a role as a support in the romantic comedy of Will Smith Hitch. In the years since she's appeared in numerous films and television shows.
