Deepika Padukone

Deepika Padukone (pronounced [di:pIka p@dUko:ne":" or "pa:dUko:nBorn 5 January 1986) is an Indian actress that is mostly in Hindi film productions. It is among the most highly paid actresses in India with her accomplishments that include the three Filmfare Awards. Time Magazine named Padukone one of the 100 most influential Influential people around the world for 2018. They also awarded her The TIME100 Impact Award 2022. Padukone was a daughter to tennis the champion Prakash Padukone. Padukone was born in and grew up in Bangalore. She played badminton at national championships as a teenager but she gave up playing for the sake of becoming a model. In the next few years, she started receiving requests to perform in movies and her first acting job was playing Aishwarya, the Kannada main character. Padukone also played the dual part of Shah Rukh Khan opposite her in Om Shanti Om (2007) which was her first Bollywood release. The film was awarded Padukone an award called the Filmfare Award Best Female Debut.
